What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?

Weird is subjective, but I suppose I could list things that Americans would think were weird...
Piglet fallopian tubes are probably pretty weird and they're a favorite of mine.
There is also a Yakitori dish called a "Chochin" because it looks like a lantern. It's actually an unlayed egg of a hen with the appropriate organ attached.
There is another dish that involves a big piece of tofu and a bunch of dojo. (I think they're called lurches, but they look like small eels.) The water is heated up, the dojo burrow into the tofu and end up being boiled together with the tofu.
Suppon is one of my favorite dishes and we eat almost all of it including the blood. I've posted on my blog about this before. Suppon is a kind of snapping turtle.
There is a prepared fish called "kusaya" which requires the fish being repeatedly dried and soaked in vats of old fermenting fish. It really smells rotten and is an acquired taste.
Fish sperm and ovaries are also very common in Japanese food.
Anyway, maybe I'll stop before I gross people. I will say that while I've gotten used to people being grossed out by weird Japanese food, it's actually quite good and doesn't seem gross to me.
What are your plans for the weekend?
Um.... Mess around in Blackwing Lair and become friendly with the mushroom people in Burning Crusade.
And go see Yuki's exhibit at the gallery.

Which of your five senses (touch, taste, sight, hearing, or smell) do you value the most?

Smell. By far. Smell brings up emotions and memories. Smell makes me angry, happy or comfortable. I associate smells with people, places and events. It is both my fetish and my spiritual connection... Anyway. Smell is important to me.
Chinese tea is one of the best smell triggers that I know. Certain teas can make me feel like I'm meditating. I never drink my favorite tea with people I don't like and only drink it in the company of my favorite people in relaxing situations. I try very hard with tea and other smells to not cross-associate them with things that I'd rather not have associated. It's a bit rough, especially since you can't tell people what perfume to wear, but when you are serving tea, it's easier. ;-)
