The cereal I ordered online the other day was purchased by the retailer at Costco.  Not that I have any complaints, saved me from taking a trip over there.

いつもVoxの機能を眼を皿のようにしてチェックしてくれているRayちゃんのお誕生日が近いので、今年から精力的に活動し始めた手芸作家の友達KEORA KEORAのKaoriちゃんの作品から海大好きなRayちゃんへマナティ―のぬいぐるみを購入。
ちょっと早いけどお誕生日おめでとう！

Kaoriちゃんのブログ（日本語/英語）でも登場してたのでマナティ―の存在は知ってたんだけど、実際に手に取ってみるとビーズやスパンコールがとても丁寧にちりばめられててすごくかわいい。大きさもちょうど手のひらいっぱいに乗るくらいの大きさかな。

マナティーの左側にはスパンコールでヒトデが、右側はスパンコールとビーズでラインと魚が刺しゅうされてる。手（？）と尾びれにも細かくビーズで刺しゅうされてる。うーん。職人技。Rayちゃんは特に魚の刺繍がお気に召したご様子で良かったよかった。

色違いの白いマナティ―も持ってきてくれたけど、Rayちゃんと言えば青なのもあり青いマナティ―にした。他にも人形（Stuff）からフェレットも登場。こっちもかわいいけど…悩んでまた今度見せてもらうことに。

他に、前にプレゼントで1つ貰ったヘアアクセサリシリーズ「Ribbon」を欲しいとお願いしてたのでRibbonがどっさり登場。

20分くらいかけてじっくり選別して最終3つまで絞り込んでうんうん唸ってたら「3つもってっていいよ！」なんて嬉しいお言葉。わー。1個分料金で3つも。ヒデキ超感激！

こうして手元にRibbonシリーズ全4つ、ヘアゴムとパッチン留めが2つお輿入れ。さっそく今日青のRibbonを着けてきた。

Kaoriちゃんとは前の会社で一緒だったんだけど、手芸でパリ在住の人とも取引したり取材が入ったりと活動の場を広げてるのは純粋にとてもすごいと思ったそんな10月初めの平日夜。

余談：10月はSAKK/SAUS共に個人的に誕生日な人たちが多いし、MT、TP、Voxも全部お誕生日月なのでした。
